![]() Celestial can proc crowd control especially if paired with starswelter and the like. I can't fix your reading comprehension issues.Ī mystic has many transformations that are useful. Because no transformation works well for it but many do for melee. It's not about class it's about dead ability sets. You either don't understand what I'm saying or you're pretending not to. Morthagi crossbow just has too short of a range to keep the character functional as a good archer. When all other classes have transformation options that adapt them for the most part. I'm just pointing out there's a single class that has its default setup completely break if you lose both arms. Yeah I know you can build a melee hunter around transformations just like a melee warrior. Originally posted by Mr.NoNa:Quick answer: no. Like would jumpjolt poison enemies it hits or go through enemies like an arrow? I guess I'll try something like this in the future. What I'm curious about now is whether range attacks from transformed arms benefit from hunters skills such as throughshot or quellingmoss. Sure, you trade bow for crossbow, but I've never really felt that much of a downgrade since you're probably aiming to get long reach/sharpshooter anyway. With a couple potency or bonus damage augments, destroys high health enemies. My main legacy hunter has always had crystalline head/sword arm+ for the stunt chance and it hurts enemy like its cutting through butter. And since the character will be speedy, it can do a ton of damage in one turn. If you transform everything but one arm to keep the crossbow, you have a free attack every turn (wolf bite), a water elemental arm attack (meaning a refunded action point for stunts) and then you can keep a cross bow (preferably fire elemental) and a dagger for flanking. ![]() However, some other combinations are useful.įor example, if you go for Thornfang/+, wolf transformation is really useful. As you said, only the morthagi arm gives you a ranged attack weapon.
